About

Every great team searches for perfection: the perfect shot, the perfect play, the perfect formation, the perfect win.  And every team’s fans search for the perfect website- for news, analysis, updates, and commentary. Some say it doesn’t exist.  Some say it’s a dream.

We say the search is over.

Philly Union Talk is different.  There’s always the slick, official website.  The problem with official websites, though, is the problem with official anything- they can’t have too much personality, or somebody gets in trouble.

There’s also lots of blogs out there, with no shortage of personality and passion.  Unfortunately on many blogs, only the bloggers get to have a say.  And you know how those people can be.

That’s where we come in.  If inoffensive, pre-approved forms of passion leave you wanting more, but lonely, underwear-clad “writers” hogging the blog-light get on your nerves, you’re at the right web address.  At Philly Union Talk, you get the best of all worlds- the slick packaging and professionalism of the official site, the balls-out editorializing and blatant self-aggrandizement of a blog, and best of all, a chance to step up to the soapbox your own damn self.

The founders of Philly Union Talk have three things in common-a love of soccer, a love of Philly, and an almost total inability to keep their opinions to themselves.  Once MLS went and combined the first two, the rest was inevitable.

Our goal is to promote the Philadelphia Union by providing a place for fans who want humor, controversy, and a chance to be heard themselves.

That means going beyond the “comments” box- we encourage our readers to not only comment on our posts, but to submit posts of their own.  We’ve built the website- and we invite you to provide some content.  While you’re at it, you can upload pics, take our regular polls, start a topic on our Forum, and enter our phenomenal contests.

So what are you waiting for?  Join in the fun.  Log on and let your passion for the Union fly.  Whatever’s on your mind, it’s all good- you’re among friends.  Up the U!

I know you guys are probably busy but I was wondering if some could give me what they believe the overall rating of each union player should be for FIFA 12.

and if anyone is interested, I made a couple of the new union signings on the fifa creation centre and they look way more accurate then how the developers designed them. just search for them in the creation centre and pick the ones you think look the best and those will be the ones I made lol. and if you send me the ratings I can make them as good as you think they are as well. (i just want the overall rating that you think each player should have not each individual attribute rating obviously that would take forever.)

    Thanks,
    Dave
